PRE-LICENSING EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
All applicants must complete the appropriate (salesperson or broker) Commission- approved Hawaii pre-license course before the date of the examination, OR apply for, and obtain a "Pre-licensing Education Equivalency – Real Estate" (refer to "EQUIVALENCY TO PRELICENSING EDUCATION REQUIREMENT").
NOTE: AFTER SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING YOUR ON-LINE PRE-LICENSE OR BROKER COURSE, PROSCHOOLS WILL EMAIL YOU YOUR COMPLETION CERTIFICATE. YOU WILL NEED TO PRINT OUT THE CERTIFICATE AND TAKE IT WITH YOU TO YOUR STATE EXAM, ALONG WITH 2 FORMS OF PHOTO I.D.
Once the course has been successfully completed, and a Completion Certificate issued, the Completion Certificate is valid for two (2) years from the date of issuance.
After signing up for the on-line class, you have SIX MONTHS
from the date of enrollment to complete your on-line class.
If you do NOT complete the class within SIX MONTHS,
you will have to re-register and pay for the class again!
All course materials, quizzes and final exams are accessible on-line. The course consists of written material that is read and reviewed on-line.
*You will need to install the latest versions of Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Reader before starting the course or you will almost certainly experience technical difficulties*
The state requires that you spend a minimum of 60 hours on-line reviewing course materials and completing your course.
Once you've completed your review of all on-line materials, taken all on-line quizzes and PASSED your on-line Final Exam, you will be e-mailed a Completion Certificate by ProSchools.
You will need to print out your Completion Certificate and take it with you to your State Exam, along with 2 forms of photo I.D.
