LIVE (not on-line) Real Estate License Classes (Pre-License Training)

SCROLL DOWN FOR UPCOMING COURSE SCHEDULES

The State of Hawaii currently requires a 60 hour pre-license real estate course, and is considering  going to a 120 hour course, due to the fact that Hawaii is in the bottom 20% of the nation for real estate licensing requirements.

The Pre-License Training (PLT) to earn your Hawaii real estate license is equivalent to taking a college course over three intensive weekends:

1 initial three-hour class on the first Friday evening (to cover the time necessary for the 6 half-hour lunch breaks).

6 ten-hour days (Saturdays & Sundays) from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Finally, there is also a four-hour final exam on the Wednesday night following the last weekend of class.

(The state requires that the lunch breaks and final exam must be conducted outside the required 60 classroom hours).

Course cost is $725.00, which includes the course, the text book, all additional training materials, and the final school exam.

After completing the required 60-hour course and passing the course final exam, you will be issued a Certificate of Completion, which is required to take the State Exam.

The state exam is given twice per month in Honoka'a on the Big Island of Hawaii.
The exam fee is currently $68.00, and is paid in advance directly to the company authorized by the state to conduct the Hawaii real estate license exam.
