Active real estate licensees are now required to take 20 credit-hours of Continuing Education every 2 years to keep from forfeiting your Hawaii real estate license.

If your license is inactive you don't have to take CE Classes every two years.

HOWEVER - if you don't take your CE classes while inactive, you WILL have to make up the previous biennium's required classes before you're able to re-activate your license.

Most licensees find that it's more practical to keep their CE classes current if they think they're going to be
re-activating their license within a few years.

If your license is "forfeited", you may have to take the entire licensing course again, pay re-instatement fees and/or take additional "essentials" classes, depending on DCCA requirements.

Completion Certificates for On-Line Salesperson & Broker Courses

NOTE: AFTER SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING YOUR ON-LINE PRE-LICENSE OR BROKER COURSE, PROSCHOOLS WILL EMAIL YOU YOUR COMPLETION CERTIFICATE. YOU WILL NEED TO PRINT OUT THE CERTIFICATE AND TAKE IT WITH YOU TO YOUR STATE EXAM, ALONG WITH 2 FORMS OF PHOTO I.D.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Students have ONE FULL YEAR from date of enrollment to complete either the on-line PLT or Broker course. You can log in and out of the course at your convenience, however - the time requirement (60 hours for PLT and 80 hours for Broker) must be completed on-line. This is a DCCA requirement.
If your course is not completed within one year, you must re-register and purchase a new course.
Your ongoing course-work and time completed will be transferred to your new on-line course.
